Johan Swanevelder, BRA Director, has contacted the City of Johannesburg requesting to find out more about speed bumps in Buccleuch.

Below is the response he got back.

"Please visit the JRA website (www.jra.org.za) and under traffic  calming (http://www.jra.org.za/customer-service/traffic-calming-request) also go to http://www.jra.org.za/documents/AZ_Traffic_Calming_Guide.pdf  -  you will find all the necessary information required. Essentially you will need to apply for a petition in this regard, and there is supporting documentation required which is all outlined on the website.

Please note that JRA has a very limited budget for traffic calming however we do prioritise areas around schools."
