Mandela Day on 18 July 2016 is once again a day that we celebrate a big man with a big vision.

This is a day to do without expectation in honour of President Nelson Mandela and all that he gave up for his vision and then later the good he did for South Africa.

The children of South Africa had a special place in his heart.

South Africans celebrate 18 July 2016 by giving 67 minutes of their time in uplifting people and their communities.

In Buccleuch we have The Village Safe Haven, the only orphanage in the suburb, and they have a wish list which we share with the Buccleuch community who every year open their hearts and give freely to make little hearts happy.

The Village Safe Haven have taken the initiative to generate much needed funds by having a Mini Market at the Buccleuch Shopping Centre in Buccleuch Drive. This takes place the last Saturday of every month.

The next Mini Market is happening on 30 July 2016. Please support them.
