We received an email from Mark Allais from The New Church in Buccleuch inviting the community to join a project for Mandela Day on the 17th July 2016

Here is the request:

Mark would like to extend an invitation to the Community of Buccleuch to join in a clean-up project on Sunday 17th July for Nelson Mandela Day.

As the New Church Buccleuch community we will be cleaning-up the foot path that starts at the bottom of Muller St South, runs along the river and ends at the Caltex Garage. This is a path that is used by many of the Buccleuch Community, including school children, and we would like serve our community in cleaning-up along the path.

Mark have spoken with our Ward Counsellor Bongani who is arranging for some extra helpers, donation of refuse bags and a truck to collect the rubbish.

His invitation goes out to anyone who would like to join a community project in the spirit of Useful Service. We will start down at the Caltex Garage @ 10am and work our way up to Muller South.
It would be lovely to see our community come out in force, so please spread the word.
