It is with such joy that we can look at our suburb and its residence. Buccleuch residence must have the biggest hearts that is filled with compassion.

A plea went out to the community on the Telegram groups, Facebook and to the MyBuccleuch database for assistance to get water to the drought stricken Cape Town.

The community got together and donated water to the following drop off points:

Solid Community Church, 1 Vanessa Street, business hours
The Buccleuch Masjid, cnr Gibson Drive West and Parkville Drive will be collection point for water between 17.30 to 19.30 daily.

Gift of Givers collected over 1000 bottles last week and another 500 ordered for collection this week and it was loaded onto the Gift of Givers truck for transport to Cape Town.
