Buccleuch to host Prayer Walk in response to crime

In response to the spike in crime in Buccleuch and the overwhelming substance abuse that our youth are being exposed to Journey Church and Solid Community Church will be leading a Prayer Walk on 20 February.
The Walk will start at 09h00 at Journey Church  (15 Twain Street). It will cover approximately 10km and about 300 people are expected to participate. It’s expected to end in the early afternoon.
4 JMPD officials, 2 JMPD cars and 30 marshalls will be present to ensure the safety of the participants.
A bakkie with the worship team including drums and base guitar will lead the walk.
Refreshments will be available at Solid Community Church.

All welcome. If you aren’t available for the full duration, you are welcome to participate in part of the walk.
